B A R O Q U E ’ n ‘ R O L L
from the XIIth century to the XXIh century

I love classic music and I could talk about it during hours. I took music theory courses younger, learning music and notes with classic pieces. Why? Because classic music is the base of our musical culture and a part of our collective unconscious (with movies, tv-ads, or samples). So I wanted to put some of these epic pieces together that we all know without really knowing them because classic music is THE music for me - I hope you will like :)

Oh, my goodness. This is brilliant, it's a lovely selection - and I'm absolutely looking forward to listening to it.

(I would have loved if some of Elgar, Holst or Barber of Seville made the cut, but alas, this is a rather huge list already.)

This mix is awesome, you are awesome, and I adore this mix. ♥

I fucking love you for this. I've been listening to classical music for half my life, got into it very very young and with no other genre I share that profound connection.

I really needed this. Thank you so much.

Aw damn. The files are faulty. It only unpacks some of the songs, not all. Thought I'd let you know.
06.15.12 (UTC)
I've always wanted to educate myself on classical music. This is a step in the right direction.

06.16.12 (UTC)
This is such a great mix. I love the inclusion of more modern composers as well. People tend to stick around Romantic/Classical.

I see you Arvo!

and just a random note, you have a typo for Samuel Barber's name.
06.16.12 (UTC)
fixed! and Thank you :)
